As soon as September arrives, all I can think about is warming spices, comforting cakes, baked apples, cozy drinks, pumpkin everything, and all the rich flavors of fall. This collection of gluten-free, sugar-free fall desserts celebrates everything I love about seasonal baking: warmth, comfort, beautiful fall ingredients, and desserts that are both nourishing and truly delicious.
A different way of baking
These recipes reflect the way I’ve learned to bake over the past 10 years: gluten-free, low-lectin, and sugar-free, while keeping flavor and pleasure at the heart of everything I make. Over time, I’ve learned to work with the natural sweetness and flavor of ingredients, choose flours with intention, and recreate the familiar textures and flavors we love in my own way.
The result is a different kind of baking — nourishing and thoughtful, but also generous, comforting, and made to be shared with everyone around the table.

You’ll find sweet and aromatic roasted pumpkin and squash tucked into moist cakes, muffins, brownies, and other cozy bakes; sweet potatoes paired with warming spices and roasted pecans; seasonal apples transformed into some of my favorite childhood-inspired desserts; and beautiful late-summer fruits like plums and figs baked into simple, elegant cakes and tarts.
These are the kinds of desserts I want as the days get shorter: flavorful and satisfying, perfect with coffee or tea, lovely enough to share at a gathering, and every bit as comforting as the classics — with nourishment built into every bite.

Happy baking! 😊
