Description
Your perfect replacement for tomato salsa.
Ingredients
- 4 big strawberries (or 6-7 if they are smaller)
 - 1 shallot, finely chopped (or 3 tablespoons finely chopped red onion)
 - a small handful of chopped fresh cilantro
 - juice of about 1/2 lime, or more to taste
 - 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
 - salt (use a finishing salt, a good quality one)
 - freshly ground pepper
 
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Season to taste.
 - Refrigerate for about 15-30 minutes before eating to allow all the flavors to come together.
 - Serve with tacos, grilled meats or vegetables.
